Honestly, we should just start advertising Lemmy on the different alternatives and drive the community here, making it the new home, while still keeping the subreddit restricted with a link to lemmy instead of the god awful and confusing discord server (that isn't even a 196 discord, why the hell did they pick it instead of making a new one?) while also informing about the tumblr tags for a more personalized experience. 2 alts feel better than a 5. We should also explain how the situation with the tankies looks like and why that's not a problem on the 196 instance.
