Voice actress Sora Tokui, who voiced Nico Yazawa in Love Live! School idol project, announced on Tuesday that she married someone outside of the entertainment industry.

Always kinda interesting to hear them marrying outside the industry. Imagine being a random dude but your girlfriend is a celebrity, that's kinda crazy. Don't even know if it would be a good thing to be honest. Do you have to do extra effort to stay outside the public eye? And for the seiyuu, I don't think they would want to date a fan? How would you know when meeting someone that they don't know you already but keep silent about it? Seems like it has a few extra complexities compared to two nobodies or two celebs dating.

It is true for any kind of celebrity, though I think seiyuus do not have the most public attention compared to actors or sports stars. It could be the case that it is harder for them to date people outside of the industry, we are just seeing those who successfully made it to marriage and it is an all the more precious thing.
