God this is sad. I'm trying to come up with a parallel to this. With a good metaphor. Like the closest I can think of is if you have a friend whose significant other is cheating on them blatantly and disrespectfully and obviously. To the point that the whole world knows. To the point that they rub it in your friend's face constantly. To the point that you stop feeling sorry for your friend and actually start to resent them for being so willfully ignorant. That's the closest thing I could think of to what I'm seeing from Joe Biden today.

What little Legacy he has is just been completely tarnished.
