You probably don't see them because you're on Kbin. It's visible from several other instances.

As I said... it's still only 6 downvotes when seen from other instances (including the one where it originated from).

A ratio of nearly 10 to 1 upvotes to downvotes is not what I would expect to trigger a complain about downvotes, bots and brigading.

So I actually assumed he did not see the upvotes properly...

They get them all at once, minutes after posting. That's why it's suspicious, each post was essentially starting with negative votes. See below:
