It is designed like a hot air balloon, but it appears to have a sealed balloon. This is probably a helium balloon, which means you're going to have to wait for the helium to leak out.

Based on the art, I'd say it would last about as long as a normal latex filled helium balloon (it's bigger, so there's more in it, but also more surface area) so probably would take a day or two before it deflates enough to drop.

Remember that volume increases cubically whilst surface area increases exponentially (i think)

Volume is cubic (r^3) and surface area is quadratic (r^2)
