What is a demake?
A demake is a Game that's purposefully built as if it where conceived and produced during a previous hardware or software generation.

haha that's epic, it's so weird how even in the modern age where everything is online there's still a big sepperation western/eastern stuff. Its interesting how it comes up so often in gaming specifically. Speedruns are the best example I can think of, the west learned the current fastest way to beat a boss in a Mario game from the introduction of eastern Speedrunning videos
