Something is seriously wrong with that steak, was it frozen when you started cooking it? Did you just chuck it in the pan and then turn on the heat? Is it microwaves? I would say it's over cooked based on the inside but then there should be some caramelisation on the outside.
I think you nailed it, this sandwich has to have been completely microwaved from scratch
Have you never boiled your steak? It's delicious, and you get free steak water.
I .. am sceptical .. and don't want to risk good meat in finding out
Free steak water does sound good though
stock cubes or bovril are probably easier ways to get meat water

It could've been cooked before being cut.
It was cooked too long if that's the case, also how many of these abominations is this person making, also what maniac doesn't sear a steak after slicing it off a slow cooked fillet?
