I never picked up a Griplight when they were common, and nowadays they are hard to find and priced to match the rarity.

I'd like something with the same form factor. I don't mind if I have to provide my own switch for the light, so long as I can easily install the light in a similar layout. I'm not looking for one of those hideous aliexpress grips with a super cheap flashlight that sits on top of the grip. The light being forward of the grip is a big draw. I'm hoping some company makes a clone or design inspired by the Griplight out there.

Dang. I wasn't looking to make a period accurate clone or anything, but I wanted grip to try out for some builds with limited space. I suppose I can get something close enough designed and printed.

Printed is a good idea I neglected to mention that in my comment as an option. I've got a cloud defensive set-up on a gun that takes the equivalent of one 12 o'clock and one 9 o'clock mlok slot.

But I wouldn't recommend using any laser or light from pre 2010 because doubtlessly someone(s) buying them to clone some obscure setup and they only ever made a limited production run.
