He's not offering it to former employees, but they should absolutely go for it very very publicly. Musk is fishing for money from Trump and Kanye, it's probably some kind of laundering scheme.
Trump is very obviously not coming back to Twitter, doesn't have an employer, and they're (supposedly) paying for the service, not charging for it, so I'm not show how that theory pans out.
He will have to sue HIMSELF! diabolical!
