They removed some APIs and are blocking some torrents by name, other torrents may still work for now but don't get too comfortable though. They will likely start removing the cached torrents with copyrighted content in the future.
The API has been mostly worked around. stremio, the major addons, rdt, and zurg works.
People keep saying "just wait..." but nothing ever happens.
There have been issues caused by maintenance that were more troublesome then this.
You know what, do as you wish, just like @[email protected] already said. It's your money and you're free to waste it. However this list and advice is here to help people who desire not to waste their own money not end up wasting their own. Now they've already given an official annoucement on their Twitter that they are taking steps to limit or action illegal content. If you wish to not see the writing on the wall that's up to you, but it does exist and it is happening.
Considering that you actually haven't pointed out how this list is inaccurate in this comment thread. Just said that people should keep using the service and paying for it, and that it's not going away (service itself isn't but the content it is used for is, making it useless), despite the fact that it will almost certainly begin to become much less useful due to the nature of this event. If you're talking about the inclusion of AllDebrid OP has explained that they are within the same Jurisdiction as RealDebrid, a jurisdiction known to have powerful copyright trolls, and we're not in the bussiness of telling people to use and pay for services that are basically guaranteed to leave people in the same situation as this one.
I think you being so hardcore in-denial of this crackdown despite the notice being from them officially is even more hilarious. What was done with addons that use RealDebrid is a workaround of API changes, if/when they delete/ban the infringing cached torrents this isn't going to help.
I'm confident that you are a troll at this point. I don't see how someone could look at their message and keep claiming RD is fine and "not going anywhere" in good faith.
Thank you, now we're devolving into the territory of misrepresentation and an apples to oranges comparison. Let's start with the bad comparison. A VPN is a very different beast than a Seedbox, as VPNs relay connections and don't host content. Now of course where they are based does indeed matter but even in the case of Mullvad their main base of operations isn't even based in France, it's in Sweden, so this whole comparson is rubbish and if you'd had bothered to check you would have seen that. Moreover a seedbox or debrid service unlike a VPN is a hosting service, they download and cache torrents. So if they are based in a country currently waging war against hosting of copyrighted content, and services are receiving takedown requests they are very likely to be also hit. Which is why AllDebrid and Debrid-Link are being recommended against by OP and others (me included).
Prove me wrong, prove that RealDebrid will last through this, not technically, I mean that it will remain useful for Pirated streaming and that they won't start deleting cached data. If they don't do it and these changes get walked back I will happily admit to being wrong. Otherwise you're no different to any of the other dipshits from r/RealDebrid trying to encourage people to continue paying for a service about to become very useless in the weeks or months to come (or getting angry that people are requesting refunds or chargebacks).
Agreed, let's wait and see. In the meantime I and OP are still not encouraging others to buy into a service like this which will likely just go out. Instead encouraging people to use different services that aren't based and hosted in the country going to town on the current one over piracy. And if you don't like it either suck it up or seethe and whine.
I don't answer you, or other disreputable people online who claim they are reputable and make bad-faith arguments. Your desire to try and challenge me for bets or dares does tell me all that I need to know, I will not respond to this conversation any more as it has long outlived any level of usefulness or constructiveness. Goodbye.
