It pisses me off because Australian buildings were made cheaply without proper insulation necessitating all of these costs on the back end.

And to add insult to injury renewable energy wasn’t invested in, forcing people to take on the costs saved by shitty buildings and contributing further to climate change that will worsen matters.

Renters can’t even have solar panels.

The building I'm in is double brick or so I've been told. And in summer it's a double edged sword. It takes longer to heat up but on the other hand it takes a lot longer to cool down too once the heat wave ends.
