Ive learned that when dealing with people that already have a list of things to throw at you, it's best to be very nice, listen, and then firmly yet kindly tell them how things work. Being "by the book" is a great way to shut karens like that down. Sometimes it's a not too long of a process, and sometimes it's a very long process.

That's what i think cops are doing when theyre insanely nice to sovcits.
