Good stuff, thanks for this!

Keep in mind, this currently only supports Lemmy versions from 0.18.1 to 0.18.3.

If you're migrating to or from a server on 0.18.4 there may be issues.

EDIT: Developer has confirmed it should work with 0.18.4.

LASIM author here - there does not appear to be any API changes in 0.18.4, and it seemed to work fine with my testing.

I've updated the table on the Github README to reflect this.

I've been getting the same problem as https://github.com/CMahaff/lasim/issues/20 and tried about every 10-15 minutes, every hour for about 6 hours yesterday and then again just now with no luck. Should I raise a new issue or comment on that closed one? I don't know what the etiquette is unfortunately.

Sure thing.

Do you get any additional information in your error log?

If not, would you be open to running a version with additional debugging statements to help identify the cause of the failures?

I know there is an issue when .world is overloaded where this happens, but if it's happening constantly it has to be something specific with your account vs mine.

Unfortunately I just get the same single line error. I don't mind running a debugging version, how do I do that?

I have submitted a github post here https://github.com/CMahaff/lasim/issues/33
