Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.
As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title
The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.
Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to the Steam Deck in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.
- Have fun.

Autumn sale ended on the 4th… I remember when these events were worth getting excited over
I think about the 5 games for $5 bundles with amazing indie games whenever this comes up.
You can still get deals like that from Humble, Fanatical, and a few others, but nothing like that on Steam anymore. I don't really understand why people buy so many games on Steam, tbh. 90% of my game purchases are bundles.
Then again, I'm a very patient gamer who prefers short and targeted indie games to AAA games, so that's probably most of the answer. I'm cool waiting 5 years for a game to be cheap. I have literally thousands of games I would be interested in playing sometime, so it's only the very rare game that I'll buy the year it's released.
Bundles are definitely where I get a majority of games, good tip there!
