As a US citizen, Mr Musk cannot legally donate to a UK political party, but he could give Reform money via the British branch of X.

I'm sorry I fail to see how that's any different. If he had talked to the head of Xitter's UK branch sure, but he went to Florida and talked to Elon Musk. This is foreign interference in broad daylight no matter how that money arrives now. It could be anonymously dropped from a plane with God Love The King printed on the side and it would be obvious.

The UK should make it absolutely clear this is unacceptable.
