I'm in the market for a new laptop and I've been checking out the Lenovo Slim 7i (14โ Intel) Gen 9, which comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, 32GB of soldered RAM, and a 1920x1200 60Hz OLED display. This setup is priced just over a grand (USD).

Unfortunately Framework or System76 laptops are not available where I live now.
Initially I was looking at the Core Ultra 200 series Yoga Slim 7i Core Ultra AURA Edition (15.3, Intel). But I read some reviews saying Its not compatible with Linux as of yet [reddit/redlib]. Also the price of the new model is $1550, so my best option now is to go with the previous generation.
I will check on https://linux-hardware.org/ if they have any probes.
