Honestly, I feel more comfortable participating on Lemmy than I ever did on Reddit or Twitter.
Yeah reddit got very toxic near the end..
I agree. This place appears to be more inviting and friendly. I'm not worried that I'm going to make a spelling mistake and never hear the end of it
I feel you. On Reddit I was always afraid to get 1000 of comments telling me I'm stupid or how could I do xyz. I really like it here on Lemmy, everyone is just so welcoming and not at all mad that so many of us (former) Redditors are joining.
