Not much to talk about these days.

Just noticed Demarai Gray(27) has moved to Al Ettifaq, after spending so many years hopping from one mid table club to another. Back in 2016, still at Birmingham, he was considered a wonderkid when he decided to move to Leicester as a 19-year-old.

Maybe the Premier league has a talent inflation? Players(not the exceptionally talented ones) either want the status of a prem player or boatloads of money. None of that hipster "I'll play in Ligue 1/Serie-A" shit

Definitely feels like the Premier League has a bit too much prestige — and this is coming from someone who thinks it's the best league in the world. There's a lot of good teams outside the PL yet players seem to not care about a lot of them — like, how does Bournemouth have more pull than a bunch of better clubs XD

@Astrealix @HaleEndGrad not prestige, just more ££; I mean when a 100k/week salary is one of the highest salaries in ligue 1, serie a, La liga outside of the top 2-3 teams in those leagues, those other teams in those leagues can’t compete with PL team salaries. That’s why players are going to Saudi League; surely isn’t prestige.

That too, yeah. It's a vicious cycle.
