  • Brush: Oumo Warhammer Iceberg 27mm Meri-2
  • Razor: Wolfman Razors WR4/WRH2
  • Blade: Feather Artist Club ProGuard (3)
  • Lather: Stirling Soap Co. - Island Man - Soap
  • Post Shave: Thayers - Cucumber - Toner
  • Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Island Man - Aftershave

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.

The Warhammer is a badger brush that has taken me a long time to learn. When I first started using it, It hogged lather more than the MOAR BOAR and just would not give it up. Over time its appetite has subsided and we've become friends. It helped me build a beautiful, slick lather of Island Man (a Creed Virgin Island Water dupe) for today's shave.

The star today is the Wolfman Razors WR4 prototype head lent to me by u/VisceralWatch. Even though his "Thrill is Gone", his abilities as an enabler have not.

I have a Blackland Vector. I mentioned that while I absolutely applaud the effort taken in the Vector's design I don't personally favor the fragility of the squared-off, threaded post on the top plate, and head size is so small, there's nowhere for lather to accumulate which forces me to rinse more often then I prefer. I wanted to see if I would like the WR4, or if I should just get a Tedalus Essence to use with artist club blades.

The short answer is that after just one shave, the WR4 is a complete hit for me. It felt comfortable immediately, has great feedback for what's happening with the blade, has no fussiness with assembly or disassembly, and provides lather management that suits me perfectly. My shave today was very comfortable and fully BBS with two effortless passes. I'm going to use it tomorrow also, but I'm sold on this design already.
