Dont use Reddit username or Facebook username or anything like that even if it could be cool. That way you dont have to worry even if some log file or error stack trace recorded your username.

Your comment reminds me of Jerboa bug: https://discuss.tchncs.de/post/2625839 which I switched to Eternity for Lemmy app to fix.

Yes, that second part, I meant that. I used to send my log files in a dark web forums and one of them started teasing me with my real name. It wasnt as bad but "Dark Web" users knowing your real name is weird.
