Another restructure at work (public sector), a few hundred positions are going. It's both bad and good news. Bad, cause people are losing jobs, good is that they seem to be getting rid of deadwood that's been hanging around for a long time.

Interesting times.

It's always better if the restructuring gets rid of the deadwood, seems like in redundancies past the useless dinosaurs have stayed on and they trim off the younger/newer hires.
