When I tested access to my community [email protected] from lemmy.ml and lemm.ee I received 404 errors. Anybody know why or how I can fix it? Thanks in advance.

Someone who is a member of another instance needs to search for the url of your community. Only then it becomes visible.

Best you can do is to announce it in [email protected] and hope people from other instances will notice.

Or make accounts everywhere and use them to search for it...

That kind of sucks to be honest. Thanks for the info. Hopefully in the future the devs can solve it so that small communities can be seen across the fediverse.

It sure does. Maybe they've made some improvements in 0.18.x, but I don't know about it.
