If I buy the best that either company has to offer (Pixel 8 pro or S23 Ultra)

Which one, in your opinion, would be the best Android experience and why? Would love to know your thoughts.

Really? Pretty self explanatory. The experience of using Android, which you dont have on a Samsung.

Absolute tosh, it's an Android phone at the end of the day.

No clue WTF tosh means, but it doesnt resemble Android anymore, so no, theres no "android experience". The underlying OS doesnt change that. If a Samsung person was handed a Pixel or any other phone that stayed true to Vanilla Android, it'd be completly different to them, that's not debatable.

Are all MacOS and iOS users familiar with BSD UNIX since thats what in there deep down? Nope!

I disagree. It's quite trivial to install a different home screen, keyboard app, etc. If you want a more Google experience out of the box, sure. But like 20 mins of customization on a Samsung can make it pretty similar. I really like how much customization you can do good lock.
