Things I never managed while living in Melbourne (and probably never will now) and sort of regret a little:

An AFL grand final
Melbourne Cup
Formula One on race day
Australian Open
War memorial on Nov 11
Spirit of Tasmania with the car for a bog lap

I've only done one of those.. formula one on race day many years back. I fell asleep with my feet up on the fence. I learned that day that unless you're in the stands with the big TV's showing you what's going on it's friggin boring.
