They kind of just make up fetishes in Anime in the hope that somebody will dig it.
We're in an era where you can be a manga artist posting erotically charged comics to pixiv and get popular enough to get an anime
I've seen shitposts with more compelling stories than some of those isekais.

Isekai trash is something I hope dies soon, although I could see some great deconstructions happening towards the end of it's lifespan. There's also a lot of good anonymously published LGBT stuff that gets the attention it deserves nowadays
At this point I'm quite sure that time I got reincarnated as a vending machine was made specifically to make fun of how ridiculous isakais are getting
It wasn't bad. I was expecting a little more poking fun at the format, but it was earnest from what I can tell. I'd give it a 6. I was expecting a 4.
