Lost all my settings with the new update (lemmy.sdf.org)

Hello. I got the new update today and when I opened the app it asked me to add an account. Weird… I did and then I realized it had wiped all my settings. Lost all filters, appearance configuration, everything.

I don’t know if they can be recovered but I want at least to warn other users to make a note of their settings before updating.

This is Memmy 1.0 on iOS.

I saw that about the re-write and assumed it was the cause, but it would have been nice to be told about it before it happened…

Yeah, I get it, it’s frustrating, but I’m glad it’s still being developed and not abandoned. I hope it’s a much better app in the long run.
