Why keep the hands up though? Defeats the purpose. Lay them at your sides and play without losing feeling in your fingers.
And why be sober and awake? If you're already laying there, then just be passed out drunk.

My guess is they just did that to take the picture. If they were down it would just look like they were watching something.
A friend of mine has a disability affecting her wrists and she does exactly that.
Right? It's like he misses the point of a split controller.
