Socialist-leaning policy brought about the golden age of the middle class in the mid 1900s. It hasn't done much for you lately because it's been on a steady decline since Reagan. Instead, all the money and power is controlled by a very small few who don't like you very much.

What makes your think that this was brought about by socialist leaving policy's? The west, especially the USA, was extremely anti socialist post WW2. But that was when the people really got their share.
