Absolutely. I saw my purchase as a late payment of KSP1 as I played it on a friends computer for several hundred hours before purchasing it on a -90% steam sale and putting my own ~300 hours into that. My playtime has been worth a lot more than what I paid for KSP1, so I'm happy to donate $50.
