my first account has a join date of june 12th. right when the blackout hit. i've been through the exact same stuff. and i think i've been on lemmy long enough to say: welcome, july 1st refugees!
I have been here for a week and my instance lemmy.ml is dead slow i wanna change it
yea, going to the big instances is bad because those instances are overloaded and struggling to keep up with demand. you should change instance, go to lemm.ee or sh.itjust.works, both have some pretty nice rules, aren't banned by any big instance (except beehaw), and sh.itjust.works runs purely on renewable energy, which is nice.
