Thanks. Jerboa automatically put it before and after when I clicked the superscript button and I just assumed it was another one of those Reddit/Lemmy formatting differences

You need it on both sides for Lemmy (at least the default interface): ^modern^ ^day^ ^tumblr^ ^is^ ^not^ ^much^ ^better^.

If you donate Bitcoin to 4chan you get a speed pass so you don't have to enter the captcha for a few months at a time, that's kind of like a membership but your posts are still marked anon so no one else would know unless using your physical device.
