Example: Bolt Thrower - World Eater [England, 1989] [FFO: Benediction, Hail of Bullets, Memoriam]
FFO means “For Fans Of” and is not always needed, but can be very helpful in promoting lesser known bands.

Please keep posts related to death metal. Other subgenres (death/doom, melodic death, progressive death, brutal death, black/death) of death metal are welcome as long as the band is primarily death metal. If looking for general metal, please visit the Metal Community.

Just wanna say how much I appreciate this community for discovering new music, and hope we can get the ball rolling here as far as usership. As a bit of an old head (?), here I am listening to Children of Bodom's Follow the Reaper and Opeth's Still Life over and over. Lol
