As bad as the m night movie was, I can't image they would attempt this unless they were going to do it right. But it also seems impossible to do right.
I still struggle to imagine how they got it so wrong in that movie. It's as if they deliberately made the most wrong choice at every opportunity.
Etc, etc, etc. It's almost impressive how disparate it is from the source material.
It was more like “Ahng”. Not sure where people are getting “Eeng” in this thread. Supposedly it was to make it sound more “ethnically correct” or something along those lines. Clearly the movie was just a complete disrespect to the source material — still hard to believe such garbage was produced.
There was no m night movie.
There is no live action in ba sing se
Good IP and sizeable amount of greed? Of course.
I feel like the one piece live action is more difficult to pull off and they did pretty good.
