If you use this software, keep an eye on it. These guys used to relay traffic through chinese servers without explicitly stating that. Additionally Rustdesk has disabled wayland on the systems where it installed, without asking for permission.

Definately not best practices at all.

Well we run our own server so its not a big deal. Also its end to end encrypted so server trust isn't necessarily needed. With that being said I do agree that hosting anything in China is bad. However last time I checked the public servers were in Germany.
