Respect to Mr. King and all the non violent freedom fighters! In the context of MLK day, I would like to recommend to you all The Plot to Kill King: The Truth Behind the Assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. written by William F. Pepper. He knew King personally and was the lawyer of MLK´s family, which makes him a true specialist and insider on the case. This book helped me to understand the case itself and also taught me - a European - a lot about the history of the US and the social mechanisms that shaped it´s society.
