I’m also on the fediverse that is a plemora instance. I’m not going to give you the name.

But That instance has a FUCK ton of racists, say some pretty fucked up shit, the word N***r they throw that shit around like glitter, fucking hate women talk about them in an atrocious way, praise hitler and hate jews, transphobic hate gays etc

So a poal.co clone? Yeah, I think even the worst of us here (possibly me? But possibly not) manage to behave ourselves a lot better than that lot

No it's not poal.co I do have an account on poal.co though I don't use it anymore. There wasn't anything interesting it was just people bitching and being hateful so I got bored and bounced.

I figured the atmosphere would be like that, but I was expecting there to be more 'fun' I guess? Everyone was just angry and so forth so I got bored and bounced.

But basically yes that is exactly what I'm trying to say. Are NOTHING like the people on Poast.co

Haven't tried poast. Tried ruqqus back in the day but didn't get into it, then poal awhile back, it felt like a more stable ruqqus with a shitter ui.

Tried a few Reddit alts too. I have some alt accounts on gab, score, and 2 or 3 other lemmies. But haven't spent much time on those.

Def agree it's a pain in the ass doing all the extra accounts tho... Specially cuz I was trying really hard to make everything separate / hard to doxx. I think I used this handle on one other lemmy but they are way more woke than here and I am guessing they blocked it already. This was back before everyone started throwing up email checks to prevent spam and haven't really been back since anyway lol.
