TIL over 98% of Korean households have a special kimchi fridge. I know many Belgian who have a beer fridge. Which special fridge does or should your European country have? (kccart.ca)

Older houses here in Sweden have/had a cool (but not cold) well ventilated pantry to store fruit and root vegetables and pickled/preserved pantry items that fare better out of the fridge or room temperature. It used to be called “sval” or “svalskåp”, with temperatures pretty much like a wine cooler. I want one of those. I don’t want a wine cooler, however.
