Maybe I'm being blind, but I'm not seeing a link to the survey in question? I saw the recent Deloitte one and that paints a slightly different picture: https://www2.deloitte.com/content/dam/Deloitte/uk/Documents/consumer-business/deloitte-uk-attitudes-to-trade-survey-2024.pdf

Obviously some overlaps re. trade difficulties, but seems more positive than the FT one.

Alex Baulf, vice-president of global indirect tax at Avalara, a tax technology firm that commissioned the survey conducted by Censuswide, said he was a “little surprised” at the high total average cost companies had suffered.
