I definetly recommend it. It also has many more settings , features than newpipe . It is in the main repo . Just search pipepipe .

Why is this better than NewPipe? I much prefer apps that focus on 1 thing and dont support 20 additional services.

It's great for people who like vocaloid because you can listen to your favorite songs across yt, niconico, and even bilibili.

I know a few different people who have a few of their songs made using vocaloid and other related software on yt but the majority of their work is on one of the other platforms and pipepipe is so much more convenient than having both the niconico app and bilibili app installed.

Because newpipe is now being rewritten so no one is maintaining it and pipepipe haveany features newpipe don't .New pipe too support other services .

The source you linked even says they are going to rewrite the app piece by piece and it will be slow .

I did not know NewPipe was unmaintained. I switched to Tubular. Thank you for the post!

NewPipe is maintained. They just haven't been adding many features recently. And Tubular is just new pipe with Sponsorblock and return YouTube dislike

I guess you could say kinda maintained . They just maintain it to keep it barely working and i support that because it wouldn't matter in the end anyway as they are rewriting huge parts of their code.
