Monday, February 12, 2024: Dwarvish blade for Haslinger Hétfő

This is my second try with the Barbarossa – it still feels a bit awkward, but I'm getting there. The shave itself was nice enough, even though I have the impression that I pay somewhat less attention to what I do than when I'm using a full-length blade – and that might bite me one day. Tomorrow (or Wednesday?) I will try a normal straight, and see how this works in comparison.

The ring of death (certainly one of the rings of power) is increasing in diameter. I have no idea how many shaves are still in this soap, but I would guess that its somewhere between 10 and 20.

Have a good night!

How many languages did you need to check to find Haslinger Hétfő? 😊

When Stirling February is over, I'll copy this shave for un Lundi Lièvre

If I remember correctly, I asked perplexity.ai (and for an Austrian soap, Hungarian is an obvious choice) 😎

But it came up empty for days starting with 'a' or 'i' for AYLM and Ishtar, and for 'st' for Stirling. Someday, I'll have to dig deeper!

This walk commemorates the Miracle of the Host of 16 March 1345, a Eucharistic miracle which involved a dying man vomiting upon being given the Holy Sacrament and last rites.

🤔
