Right to Repair/Ownership

Whether it be electronics, automobiles or medical equipment, the manufacturers should not be able to horde "oem" parts, render your stuff useless if you repair it with aftermarket parts, or hide schematics of their products.

People like to say "they don't make things like they used to". Things have always broken, things need maintenance to keep running. Just because things are a bit more complicated today, doesn't mean they're not serviceable. I've saved a lot of money fixing things around my house, it's a good skill to have.
