Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

There's a condition called progeria that is pretty much the real version of this.
Unfortunately - however you might take that - it usually takes a decade or two and is pleasant for no-one.
Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy let alone their kid.

I'm definitely not the target audience of an ad like that, my thought is "life is short, don't waste it in front of a screen" (yes, that's exactly what I'm doing here on lemmy π« ). I would bet that a life of playing video games will feel like it flew by much more than one out doing stuff in the world, but it probably depends on the games and the outdoor stuff so ymmv
I viewed it as βplay more versus sitting at a desk at workβ sort of thing.
Less time bad screen, more time good screen.

BUT if someone does, seek help because life gets so much better, but only if you keep trying. Don't give up! Lean on friends and family, there's help to be found everywhere.
Maybe this condition was what supposed.to be normal for humans? So we could live as long as our four legged friends?
