I'm looking for some recommendations for things to listen to or casually watch to stay 'in the loop' on the standout games of the year, hear discussion of good games in general, feed my video game fan soul but not just about the newest latest thing.

I figured this group might know of good spots to look.

Try out Iron Pineapple. Has a series dedicated to trying out dark souls style games on steam and gives them a fair chance/ quick review. He's an incredibly patient gamer! His elden ring gameplays are great too, with different challenges like no damage and no leveling runs. https://youtube.com/@IronPineapple
