You get access to /r/lounge, which is a stupid subreddit with no actual purpose or theme so nothing of value gets posted.

But also I think you don't get ads.

Do people still do sob story farewell posts on /r/lounge so they can farm free premium/coins?

I wouldn't know. The handful of times I was gilded I took a cursory glance into that subreddit and quickly realized there's really nothing worth seeing there.

Yeah it’s been years since I looked but that’s all I saw
