From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Hey, I'm trying to calibrate my Wacom Cintiq Pro 32 on Bazzite OS, but I am running into issues. My problem is that my cursor is ~10px off from my pen tip, which makes drawing quite weird. Common sense would take you to KDE Plasma's settings app, but the "Drawing Tablet" Input Device setting does not feature a tablet calibration editor. Therefore, I've been looking into some solutions. I tried using xsetwacom --list devices, but the program only works in Xorg. Bazzite runs with Wayland only.

I tried using using the OpenTabletDriver app, but it refuses to communicate with my system. I'm aware that this has to do with the immutable nature of my system, but I desire to learn how to permit the permissions the app needs. If you know of an even better tool to use, I'd appreciate that as well. My first thought was to contact Bazzite's own community, but I thought I'd give Lemmy a shot. Thanks. :D

The Wayland drawing tablet settings are really lacking in comparison, I heard.

Oh yeah, I can attest to that.
