My therapist thought my significant other was a socio path, and I was like “you took everything I was saying at face value?” Part of being a good listener is letting someone rant without necessarily believing everything they say as rock solid gospel.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't think that's normal on your part.
So the therapist is supposed to not belive you? I think that would be more problematic.
My SO is a psychopath... our therapist confirms this.
Well, I exaggerate, but still, she has mental issues, no doubt there.
