Fluid networks don't allow mixed fluids though. How would you mix in the tank?

More like the same tank could buffer whatever is on the train and then split out immediately.

I wonder if there's a mod that allows that. Hopefully complete with a mechanic where mixing the wrong fluids can cause catastrophic exothermic reactions.

The game used to let you do that, it was a nightmare since there wasn't any warning when connecting pipes.
