Can the Voyager PWA access the internet on iOS when it’s shut down and dismissed? (lemmy.world)

I know true apps can do this, and I want to know if Voyager can connect to my instance when I’m not even using it and it’s dismissed (because VPN)

Currently voyager cannot do this (It doesn't have any background refresh capabilities). Down the line it might be able to when push notification feature is implemented (and you enable it).
