How to make dualsense controller act like xbox controller (self.linux_gaming)

the tldr is that i have this one game that only likes xbox controllers, and steam input doesnt work to fix it

Steam Input should be able to make a dualsense work for basically any steam game. Have you tried this controller in another Steam game? I'm wondering if the mod is the problem.
