You're going to compare my opposition to the genocide you live to support to Republicans' opposition to abortion now?

Netanyahu is committing genocide. Biden is supporting his efforts, and you're attacking anyone who has a problem with that.

you live to support

This is exactly what anti-choice people do when they say their opposition supports killing babies. The reality is that I've noticed your anti-Biden rhetoric 100 times that I've not responded to it, yet once again you're trying to lie and say that I'm all over the internet jumping on anyone for simply having any issue whatsoever with "opposing genocide".

You're just creating a straw man to argue against. Those who oppose you "love genocide". You say it over and over. It's fucking transparent as hell. Anyone arguing in good faith would never do this.

Fine, I made an assumption based on how angry you get when I say that Biden should stop supporting genocide.

Let's get some clarity here: do you support Netanyahu's genocide?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago (1 children)

It's a ridiculous question. Of course not. Basically no one does. Especially when you word it like that, they wouldn't.

But according to you, like 50% of the internet LOVES GENOCIDE. It's a absurdist non-starter accusation.

Do you support fascism? (since we're playing this game)

It’s a ridiculous question.

I once thought so, and then the head of my party sold weapons to a genocidal madman, with the enthusiastic support of the right flank of the Democratic Party.

But according to you, like 50% of the internet LOVES GENOCIDE. It’s a absurdist non-starter accusation.

I mean, Republicans certainly do, and they're not an insignificant presence on the internet. And plenty of Democrats lose their fucking shit at the suggestion that Biden should cease his support for genocide.

Do you support fascism?

No. I very much do not. It's why seeing the "good" party so enthusiastically embracing one of fascism's hallmarks upsets me so greatly.

Ya see, "embracing" is absolutely not what I see anywhere. People like yourself are blaming the whole thing on Biden as if they slightly understand geopolitics. They don't. Besides the shit talking there are a lot of people threatening to withhold their vote. Either people are braindeadedly stupid and haven't learned a fucking thing since 2016 or they flat out don't care if trump is elected. So I'm led to believe a lot of these people want trump in the Whitehouse but want to be seen as enlightened centrists. Probably Russian paid, a lot of them

If what you mean by "enthusiastically embracing" is actually people just saying that Biden can't magically fix this, well, then my assessment of your rhetoric was dead on. I don't know where you're seeing anything that could be accurately described that way, but I literally have never seen that a single time. Zero times

People like yourself are blaming the whole thing on Biden as if they slightly understand geopolitics.

Oh, I don't blame the whole thing on Biden. Netanyahu is most directly to blame, of course. You ignored where I said that Republicans support Netanyahu's genocide. They were instrumental in making sure the Ukraine funding bill was also a Israel funding bill.

But I blame Biden for selling Netanyahu weapons, because Biden sold Netanyahu weapons. I blame him for the actions of the executive branch though the state department in running interference for Netanyahu at the UN. His hands were not tied in either instance, and I don't like what he chose to do.

If what you mean by “enthusiastically embracing” is actually people just saying that Biden can’t magically fix this

I've never said he could. But he could cease his support. He could stop selling Netanyahu weapons. He could stop abusing the US' permanent veto for Netanyahu. He hasn't stopped. I hope he does.
